Ayushmann Khurrana’s Latest Movie Released Today. Read The Bala Movie Review

Director Amar Kaushik has come up with the movie, Bala. It is the story of a young man who is struggling with the problem of premature balding. We have already told numerous things while introducing the characters and trailers. The film, today, hit the screens and has won all the positive reviews and critical acclaim. Bala has been one of the Latest Bollywood Updates because of the plagiarism controversies. A similar movie with the title Ujda Chaman has already released and the makers of Ujda Chaman claimed that the idea of Bala has been stolen from Udja Chaman.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana had something else to say. He said that two people could think of the same idea since balding is a common issue.
People who watched the first show of Bala mentioned that the film is a combination of good acting, writing, and direction, and it is one of the best movies of the year.
Story
The story of Bala starts from the year 2003, where the character is in his teenage and is proud of his shiny black hair. His name is Balmukund but he is called Bala due to the heavy and bouncy hairs he had. He was called the Shah Rukh Khan of his school and used to make fun of his bald teachers by calling them ‘takla.’ Not just the hairs, he was proud of his personality and used to humiliate his dark-complexioned classmate in front of the entire class.
The story then moves forward to 2016, Circa. Balmukund has now grown, and all his pride has faded. He has become bald, and as he says, his head has become like a full moon.  His childhood sweetheart has left him for a similar-looking boy with more hairs. His self-confidence was crushed after so many rejections, and all his remedies like applying buffalo’s dung, and bull’s semen on his head, had failed. His family members had always been his support system during his struggle.
The story then takes a twist and Bala’s father, whom he always blames for weak genes, give him a sticking hair patch. After getting fake hairs from his father, Bala’s confidence returns and his love story with Pari, played by Yami Gautam starts. Yami Gautam is playing herself as she is playing the face of the top fairness cream. The story takes numerous twists and turns and makes us laugh out loud.
Overall Review
All characters have played their roles very well, and there are times when the film presents the harsh reality of Indian society as well as the Bollywood film industry. The character of JavedJaaferi, named Bachchan Bhaiya tells that we live in a patriarchal society and the flaws of man are ignored while the women are time and taunted for their shortcomings.
Bala is indeed a brilliant film, and people have appreciated it, but there are some disappointing factors as well. The makers had to present a dark-complexioned character, and they signed Bhumi, who is a fair-skinned girl. They turned her into a dark-skinned Lalita, and it made the fans uncomfortable. They could choose another actress to play this character.
