Honour Killing Once Again Ruined A Family! Couple With 2 Kids Was Stoned to Death

Honour Killing Once Again Ruined A Family: Can you imagine that the grandparents did not look at the innocent faces of their grandchildren? No! It is India, and anything can happen here. A couple that left the village for love-marriage returned after four years in the hope that their family would forgive them after seeing their children returned to the village but was not aware that they were moving closer to the death.
It is the 21st century and we are moving towards the age of technology and robotics. However, a significant part of the country is still living with the old beliefs and suffocating values. The recent incident is an example of how people prioritize the hollow communal ideas over the life of human beings and practice the deadly ritual of Honour Killing.

The topic of discussion here is the latest news coming from Karnataka. In the Gadget district of Karnataka, a Dalit man and his wife returned to their village after four years of fleeting the place. Both of them had left the village as their families were against their love and relation. They left the village, got married, and had started a new family at a distant place; meanwhile, the wife gave birth to two children. The couple thought that the families would be happy to see their grandchildren and accept them as well. What was awaiting them is something they could never imagine. The couple was stoned to death as they reached the place.
According to police reports, the girl belonging to the Lambani Community loved a boy from the Dalit community despite her family’s opposition. The couple left the village and got married.
They were afraid that the family members would punish them and left their homes. They got married and migrated to several places and worked as laborers for the sake of their children. On Wednesday, they returned to their village where a dreadful tragedy was waiting for them.
As the Lambani community members saw them on the road, they started throwing stones at them and continued it till they took the last breath, the police confirmed. The couple is no more; the community completed its revenge; their ego is satisfied, but what about the kids. The protectors of Honour Killing did not even think that it has been four years since they got married. Nobody gave them a chance to say their last words to their children
