wait is going to end soon as she will make her Bollywood debut with Khiladi
Kumar’s upcoming movie titled Prithviraj (Akshay
Kumar’s Prithviraj). The film would be produced by Yash Raj Films, and
the production house is going to launch Manushi Chhillar as their heroine.
Akshay Kumar is trying new
genres. He recently worked on a music video and is also entering into the genre
of historical drama. Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj first-ever historical drama and
Manushi Chillar is the surprise element. Manushi has remained the Miss World
2017. She won the beauty pageant winner. The actress has expressed her
excitement with these words. She said that she is elated to be, “Chosen by a
production house like Yash Raj Films as their heroine.”
“It is a huge honour to have been chosen by a production house like Yash Raj Films as their heroine. I am thoroughly happy and thrilled about the learnings that I will have through this journey. My life, so far, has been a fairy tale. From becoming Miss India and then Miss World to now getting such a big project as my debut film, it’s like a new, exciting chapter of my life.” Manushi added.

Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj is an Indian monarch Prithviraj Chauhan and is titled as the same. Akshay shared a post in which he is playing the role of Prithviraj himself. He also announced that Miss World Manushi Chhillar would also join the team, and play the role of Prithviraj’s wife Sanyogita. According to the reports, Chandra Prakash Dwivedi will direct the film. Dwivedi is well-known for writing and directing TV series like Chanakya and Urmila Matondkar’e super hit film Pinjar.
Everyone got excited after watching Akshay Kumar’s post and was happy for Manushi’s Bollywood debut. The models also mentioned that she takes it like a responsibility because she has to play a historical character such as Sanyogita. “It is a huge responsibility to play princess Sanyogita. She was a powerful personality and she stood up for what is right and took the most important decisions of her life by herself. Her life is an extremely important chapter in Indian history and I will try my best to play her as accurately as possible.”
This is what director Chandra Prakash has to say about Manushi Chhillar’s selection, “We auditioned a lot of young, fresh faces for the role because we were looking for a stunningly gorgeous Indian heroine. While Sanyogita was an incredibly beautiful person, she was also a strong, confident girl. We were looking to find someone who could match the magnetic persona of Sanyogita and we found that in Manushi. She auditioned for the role a couple of times because we wanted to be dead sure with this casting and she nailed it each time. She has been rehearsing six days a week since then and she is being thoroughly groomed for the last 9 months by YRF.”
