“Baaghi 3” – Veteran Actor Jackie Shroff Set to Share Screen with Son Tiger
Baaghi 3 cast has been finalized and the good news that the real
life father-son duo will be seen in reel life as well. The star of Baaghi
series Tiger Shroff will be seen
sharing the screen with his father Jackie Shroff as is informed by the film
Producer SajidNadiadwala. He said “Everyone has been waiting to see Tiger team
up with his Hero father Jackie since we launched him. There have been plenty of
speculations and no one has been able to bring them together in the last six
years as the duo was categorical they would only share the screen when a film
and role merited their presence,”
Sajid explained the need for Jackie
Shroff to be a part of the film saying “Ahmed and I feel the storyline required
Jackie to be a part of the film and I believe our visions matched to understand how
it’s a pivotal role in the film.”
The makers of Baaghi 3 have been in a tough spot convincing both
Tiger and Jackie Shroff. Earlier, Tiger revealed why he does not want to work
with his father. He said “Though there have been a lot of offers, the right script
is yet to come along. But I will not like to work with him; I will run away. If
I have to be in the same frame with him, I think I will freeze. I don’t
talk to him about my films. When I show him the final product, he will just
watch and say, ‘Bindaaskaamkiya…tu pass hogaya’. I fail to understand what goes
in his mind while watching the films. But undoubtedly, he is my biggest
critic.”
Baaghi 3 will be the first film to
cast the duo and Tiger is really nervous about it. Tiger revealed that his
father did not even come on the sets of the film when he was shooting A Flying
Jatt. “He usually never visits my sets while I am shooting, apart from the one
time when he had come for a surprise visit during the filming of A Flying Jatt”
said Tiger.
