News of Donald Trump - Amidst the coronavirus fear, lot many changes
are seen in many countries and the most amazing to find the United States’ President
Donald Trump following Indian style of greetings. He greeted Irish
Prime Minister Leo Varadkar with a ‘namaste’ instead of a formal handshake at
the Oval Office on Thursday (12.03.2020), ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.
Trump said at the Oval Office, though it is a sort of a
weird feeling by not shaking hands today and just looking at each other and
said let us change the way of greetings by doing Namaste. He further said that
recently he had come back from India and he greeted people by doing Namaste,
and truly it was easy to go ahead with it.
Trump also showed the expressions by bowing his head – the
Japanese way of greeting. He also said, India and Japan are ahead of the curve.
WHO has declared the coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020. About
1,28,343 cases have been reported Globally. The virus has claimed over 4,700
lives till now.
